The Speaker of Republika Srpska’s Parliament, Igor Radojicic, met with the German Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Turkey and EFTA member states, Ernst Reinhel, and expressed hope that a mechanism for internal agreement on the issues of European legislation and standards will be brought, without which negotiations on European funds wont not be possible.
They agreed that talks on implementing of the Sejdic-Finci decision must resume.
Radojicic informed Reinhel of Srpska’s positions on the issues of European integration, IPA funds and further development of political relations in BH, and stressed that the responsibility for resolving these issues lies with domestic institutions and elected officials, with expert assistance from the EU.
Reinhel confirmed Germany’s support for the further enlargement of the EU in the Balkans, including BH, if all required conditions and standards are met.
