Serbian international Nemanja Bjelica set a career record with 34 points last night, but it was a small consolation as his Sacramento lost to Orlando with 114: 112 in their field. In the final seconds, Aaron Gordon gave the visitors a two-point win and an extra free throw.
In a very unusual and dramatic match, several result turns were seen with the uncertain finish of the match attributed to the guests.
Sacramento got into the match well and took the lead at the start, but the guests took the lead and reversed the score. They maintained a minimal difference until the end when the hosts managed to even out and then take the minimum lead from 112: 111 for 15 seconds to finish.
And then Aaron Gordon enters the scene, becoming the player of the match, who brings Orlando away to win.
The Sacramento team was led by a great play led by Nemanja Bjelica who set a career record by scoring 34 points with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals. He was followed by De’Aaron Fox with 31 points, eight rebounds and ten assists.
Orlando was led by Nikola Vucević with 26 points and 15 rebounds, Evan Furney with 25 points and Aaron Gordon with 19 points and nine rebounds.
In the away game, New Orleans outscored Detroit 110: 117 after the extra time, and Portland basketball celebrated on their parquet against Charlotte 115: 112.
Indiana, Boston and Oklahoma also registered victories.
