The winter season in Jahorina will officially open on the 13th of December along with this year’s new offer – night skiing.
The night skiing offer is the result of collaboration with the Tourist Organization of Banja Luka, whilst the “Olympic Center Jahorina” is the bearer of the entire project.
Jahorina’s ideal geographical position more or less guarantees three to four months of good ski snow. It has over 40 km of ski tracks, along with modern facilities.
When it comes to accommodation Predrag Lopatic, a marketing associate of TO IS, says that this year there are about 5, 000 available beds in Jahorina. Less than half of this capacity is hotel stay, whilst the rest is rental houses, rooms and apartments.
The following year, Jahorina will mark the 30th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Sarajevo. In order to celebrate this day, in late January, Jahorina will host a weekend event which will be filled with music, cultural and sports events.
