River Sujica, passing through the Duvanjsko field is one of the most meandrous and beautiful rivers in the world.
The area of Sujica settlement, was strategically important in ancient times because it was halfway between Salona (today’s Croatian town of Solin) and the interior of Dalmatia. Even today, the roads to Southern Bosnian town of Kupres, Livno and Tomislavgrad are some of the busiest in the country.
Every day, many travellers stop in awe of the meandering river, enjoying photographing and watching the surrounding mountains of Zelvodic and Malovan, where this sinking river springs.
It flows through Sujicko and Duvanjsko field from the north to the south.
