The system of one-stop business registration is already yielding results, said the Director of Intermediary, Information and Financial Services FIPA, Jelena Cetkovic.
More and more stakeholders are seeking information and opening enterprises with minimal costs and a minimum number of procedures.
Cetkovic noted that judicial and administrative fees have been abolished. The registration of a Limited Liability Company LTD now costs 150 to 200 KM, instead of the prior 1,530 KM, and the founding capital of 2,000 KM has been reduced to one KM.
Praise has come from the World Bank, whilst the Federation of BH is looking to follow Srpska’s lead, said Cetkovic. She added that next year we can expect an electronic registration system, where everything will be done via the internet.
Furthermore, FIPA has begun putting together a companies register which means that Srpska will finally have all the information on companies, their establishment and their financial statements, in one place.
