Patriarch Irinej Serves the Holy Divine Liturgy in Banjaluka

At the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka, the Holy Divine Liturgy began, served by His Holiness, Patriarch Irinej  Irinej on the third day of Christmas dedicated to the Holy Martyr and Archdeacon Stefan.

The Holy Divine Liturgy is led by His Holiness, Patriarch Irinej along with the bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, bishop Jefrem – Eparchy of Banja Luka, Sergije – Eparchy of Bihać and Petrovac, Fotije – Eparchy of Zvornik and Tuzla, Danilo – Eparchy of Zahumlje and Herzegovina, assisted by priests and deacons.

The Holy Divine Liturgy is attended by the Secretary-General of the President of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, the Minister of Defense of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, the Minister of Labor and Veterans’ Disability Protection of the Republic of Srpska, Duško Milunović, and representatives of the associations stemming from the Defense and Fatherland War.

Among other things, the Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska, Petar Đokic, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija, attend the liturgy.

Prior to the liturgy, the Patriarch Irinej was greeted in front of the Cathedral of Banja Luka.
