Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic and the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended the ceremony of awarding the best businesses and companies in Republic of Srpska in 2017 that took place in Banski Dvor Cultural Center in Banja Luka.
President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that Republic of Srpska was making maximum efforts to develop economic and business environment that was enabling the businessmen to work, employ and make profit.
“In the last few years we have completely stabilized the financial sector and I am grateful to the Government led by the Prime Minister Cvijanovic for having succeeded in difficult conditions to stabilize and enable the full liquidity of our public accounts because this stability is the best guarantee and the best incentive for our companies. Today we can say that we are able to fulfill our financial obligations and all the incentives foreseen by the law”, President Dodik said.
According to President Dodik, the authorities of the Republic of Srpska were persistently leading political battles with regard to the rights to dispose with the resources of the Republic of Srpska and to enact business friendly regulations.
“Today we have an economic system that is as good as any in the region. The years ahead shall bring challenges and uncertainty and with it the need to bring our business and administrative capacities together including all who can contribute to understanding today’s world so we could streamline our economy towards stable waters “, President Dodik said.
The President stressed that it was necessary to improve the living standard of the workers and employees and enable higher salaries to prevent them from leaving the country, to raise the level of public debate on education to see which occupational profiles and type of labor were needed for the RS economy and what could be changed there.
President Dodik emphasized that foreign investors were very welcome in Republic of Srpska but that priority must be given to domestic businessmen and entrepreneurs.
The best business award ceremony organized by the Republic of Srpsla Business Chamber was also attended by the RS National Assembly Speaker, Nedeljko Cubrilovic, representatives of Republic of Srpska in BiH Parliament and other joint institutions, RS Government Ministers, the Mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojicic, members of the diplomatic corps, distinguished businessmen and other respectable members of the community.
