Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, and owner of ‘Banja Kulasi’ Spa Center, Dubravko Zemun, officially opened the renovated Health and Spa Center in the vicinity of Prijedor, on Saturday 25.
Prime Minister Cvijanovic stated that the newly opened Spa Center would offer services not only to its guests but also to patients and health sector of the Republic of Srpska as well as to tourism.
“We expect that ‘Banja Kulasi’ would provide results very soon not only because it would employ 50 people what is very important but would also continue to grow and improve. We are acquainted with the plans of the management to expand the services and further improve the work of this complex”, Prime Minister Cvijanovic said.
On this occasion, Prime Minister also said that it was very important that other capacities in the that area were progressing as well and mentioned construction of Stanari Thermo Power Plant, expansion of Stanari Mine and construction of a highway section.
“Now we have a renovated and functional Spa Center with a long tradition meaning that people are aware of the qualities of thermal water which all combined would be good for the patients and guests, for the health system and for tourism”, the Prime Minister said.
The owner of Banja Kulasi Spa Center, Dubravko Zemun stated that the renovation started in May last year, that at the moment the Spa had 110 beds, two swimming pools and medical part and that the management planned to expand the hotel capacities.
Director of the Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of Srpska, Drako Tomas who attended the opening of the renovated Spa Center in Kulasi stated that the Fund recognized the possibilities for its users who would as of July 1st be able to be treated in this health institution since the Fund signed the Contract.
The Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation, Zlatan Klokic was also present at the opening of the Spa Center in Kulasi.
