Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic received today the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, H.E. Christian Hellbach during his farewell visit.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Cvijanovic and Ambassador Hellbach talked about the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH especially with regard to realization of the requirements defined in the process of association of BiH to the European Union as carried out by the institutions of the Republic of Srpska.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Cvijanovic reiterated that the Republic of Srpska was committed to keep the active role in the process of European integration while respecting the Dayton Agreement and constitutional competences of all levels of government in BiH.
The interlocutors stated their mutual satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between Germany and the Republic of Srpska and expressed hope that it would continue in future.
Prime Minister Cvijanovic extended her best wishes to Ambassador Hellbach in his future professional engagements.
