Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic wellcomed the new World Bank Country Manager for BiH, Emanuel Salinas Muñoz who paid an introductory visit. On this occasion Prime Minster Cvijanovic welcomed the new Head of Office of the World Bank in BiH and thanked Mr. Muñoz for all efforts which this international financial institution provided by implementing various projects in the Republic of Srpska.
Prime Minister introduced the new World Bank Country Manager about the results of the reform measures which the Government of the Republic of Srpska was undertaking and about the effects of the accomplished and dynamics of the ongoing projects.
The interlocutors agreed that the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Government and the World Bank has thus far been very good especially with regard to strategically important infrastructure projects.
During the meeting it has been pointed to certain areas in which the World Bank could offer its assistance such as modernization of roads, wood industry and tourism.
The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Srpska Zoran Tegeltija was in attendance of the meeting as well.
