Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Viskovic met with the UN Resident Coordinator in BiH, Ms. Sezin Sinanoglu

Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Viskovic spoke today (25 March 2019) with the UN Resident Coordinator in BiH, Ms. Sezin Sinanoglu.

Prime Minister Viskovic and Ms. Sinanoglu spoke about implementation of the ongoing projects implemented by the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and local communities throughout the Republic of Srpska in cooperation with the United Nations agencies in BiH.

The cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Government and the UN has been assessed as constructive and good and the interlocutors expressed expectation that it would continue so with respect to the current and future projects at mutual satisfaction.

Prime Minister Viskovic stressed that the highest priorities in the work of the Government of the Republic of Srpska defined in the 2019 Economic Policy were productivity and competitiveness of the domestic economy which is followed by education that would be reinforced through new designed programs in the field of information technology.

Other relevant matters and planned UN programs in Republic of Srpska and BiH have also been discussed and Prime Minister Viskovic emphasized that the Government of Republic of  Srpska would continue to support UN activities that would contribute to social development and more efficient implementation of the envisaged reforms.
