Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković met today with Serbian diaspora businessmen from the German Province of Baden-Württemberg in the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Stuttgart.
The interlocutors exchanged views and opinions on the economic potentials of the Republic of Srpska and possibilities for strengthening economic relations and business opportunities.
Prime Minister Višković said that the Republic of Srpska was stable and committed to work together with Serbian people living abroad to build a partnership and improve relations to mutual interest.
Prime Minister Višković emphasized that the priority of the Government and its institutions was to strengthen the real sector, create new jobs, attract investments and create a more favorable business environment for domestic and foreign investors.
During the meeting Prime Minister informed the businessmen from the diaspora about a set of laws created by the Republika Srpska Government which aim is to unburden the economy and raise wages in the real sector.
On this occasion Prime Minister Višković invited businessmen working in Germany to consider the possibility of investing in the Republic of Srpska and making the use of all facilities and conditions which the Republic of Srpska was offering to investors.
Prime Minister Viskovic reiterated that the Government of the Republic of Srpska remained committed to supporting all economic activities and creating an environment that would enable economy development and would provide maximum support to every investor who shall decide to invest his capital in the Republic of Srpska.
In addition to businessmen from the diaspora, the meeting was also attended by the German businessman Martin Schmucker who is also one of the representatives of the German economy in charge of the contact with the Russian Federation and Ms. Olivera Minova Petmezas, representative of the German company Bosch.
Mr. Schmucker expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković and announced that he would soon visit the Republic of Srpska to discuss potential investments and joint projects. Also, Prime Minister Višković and Mr. Schmucker agreed to hold a business fair in September for businessmen from the Republic of Srpska so they could present their products in the German market.
Representatives of the business community in Baden-Wurttemberg thanked Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska for the visit and emphasized the importance of holding such meetings that contribute to strengthening of the relations especially in the field of the economy which is crucial for the development and progress of the entire society.
