Prime Minister Višković meets with Hungarian Minister of Economic Development Márton Nagy – Hungary is interested in projects in Republic of Srpska

Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković met yesterday in Budapest with the Minister of Economic Development of Hungary, Márton Nagy, and discussed cooperation between Hungary and the Republic of Srpska.

Prime Minister Višković thanked Minister Nagy for his hospitality and said that Republic of  Srpska appreciated the attitude of Hungary and its Prime Minister Viktor Orbán towards the Serbian people and was grateful for the support of Hungary which advocates that the Western Balkans should become a part of the EU.

The meeting focused on the discussion related to development of mutual cooperation and as possible areas of cooperation were identified projects in economy, agriculture, energy and road infrastructure.

Prime Minister Višković informed Minister Nagy that in Republic of Srpska there was a great interest of farmers in Hungarian agricultural machinery and that at the second public invitation more than 1,500 farmers applied which is now completed.

Minister Nagy pointed out that Hungary was ready to discuss work on various joint projects and expressed the aspiration of Hungarian companies to participate in their implementation.

Minister Nagy accepted Prime Minister Višković’s initiative to organize a joint economic forum in which businessmen from Hungary and Republic of Srpska would participate.

Prime Minister Radovan Višković and Minister Márton Nagy agreed that the talks would continue in the future.
