The Rafting Club “Kanjon”, in cooperation with the Rafting Club Jajce, representatives of the Armed Forces of BiH, representatives of local communities, local population and the company Coca-Cola, has been organizing the cleaning of Vrbas river for the past eight years.
“The Clean Vrbas” initiative is implemented by RC “Kanjon” with the aim of contributing to the preservation of Vrbas and raising awareness of the importance of water protection and responsible water management.
The rafters will also clean the Pliva riverbed. In this way they want to send a message that the rivers in the Vrbas basin must be cleaned.
“The name of the action is Clean Vrbas, but Pliva is one of the most important tributaries of Vrbas. Without pure Pliva, there certainly is not even a clean Vrbas, “says the organizer.
The final manifestation of the Tourist Vrbas regatta will be held on August 11th, when the participants of the regatta will report the section from Krupa to Vrbas to Banja Luka.
