The newly appointed European Parliament’s Special Rapporteur for B&H, Paulo Rangel, believes that BiH has a chance of speeding up EU accession, but that it needs to improve the situation in society as soon as possible.
– The appointment of Zoran Tegeltija as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers represents progress – told Rangel, adding that this gave hope and that the Council of Ministers would be formed by the end of the year.
He believes that EU accession will not be an easy process, especially given the migrant crisis and the problems with camps for migrant accommodation in B&H, and these issues cannot be resolved without EU assistance.
– But, frankly, I think that there is no support from the EU. As for the financial injection, I think it’s enough, but it’s not about the money.
Specialists are needed to help in the field – says the new European Parliament’s Special Rapporteur for BiH.
