Representatives of the Republic of Srpska Government had a meeting today with representatives of China Jiangxi Corporation for International Economic and Technical Cooperation in Banja Luka.
The interlocutors talked about possibilities of establishing cooperation with this Chinese enterprise primarily with regard to realization of infrastructure projects in Republic of Srpska.
Delegation of the Republic of Srpska Government comprised Deputy Prime Minister Srebrenka Golic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Stevo Mirjanic and Deputy Minister of Traffic and Communications Natasa Kostic who informed the representatives of China Jiangxi Corporation about ongoing projects and plans for infrastructure development in Republic of Srpska. It has been emphasized on this occasion that Republic of Srpska was open for new investments and that its institutions have thus far realized several successful projects with partners from the People’s Republic of China.
Representatives of China Jiangxi Corporation expressed their readiness to support investments in the Republic of Srpska particularly in the sectors of road infrastructure and energy and it was agreed that talks would be continued with the respective Government Ministers in order to define adequate modalities of cooperation.
China Jiangxi Corporation is among the 250 leading world companies in the area of international construction and engineering and have successfully realized more than 500 projects in over 50 countries of the world.
