The Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) is prepared to accept the possible holding of early, but not extraordinary, elections in Srpska and is not going to support a change to the electoral law of B&H.
Milorad Dodik, SNSD leader, explained that after a session of the party’s executive board, they are prepared to accept the election timeline offered by the opposition in Srpska, but that a decision on these elections should be made by the RS National Assembly and not the B&H Parliament.
Dodik refused extraordinary elections because they would give the wrong picture of Republika Srpska as being in a state of emergency.
