The Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has announced that it has requested the withdrawal of 5 bottled waters from the market due to the fact that a decision on the recognition of natural mineral, spring, and purified waters has not been issued.
As announced by the Agency, the withdrawal from the market was requested after the Brcko District Inspectorate conducted an inspection yesterday and informed the Agency that the aforementioned decision was not issued for the following bottled waters:
Natural non-carbonated water ”Ledena” with a volume of five liters, produced and filled by the company Gakom from Gornja Orahovica, Gracanica;
Mountain spring water from Vlasic ”Gora” with a volume of five liters, produced by the company Iriskic from Jelah;
Water First, alkaline water, purified water without carbon dioxide from the Slovenian manufacturer Fructal in a 0.5-liter package, which is imported by the company ”Bili brig” from Grude;
Natural non-carbonated mineral water purified by osmosis Bibit of the Kosovar manufacturer S.H.P.K in a 0.5-liter package, which is imported by Skuter from Sarajevo;
Natural ”rich” mineral water and ”exclusive” Sirma glass water from the Turkish manufacturer Sirma Grup, which is imported by Temax from Orasje.
As announced by the Food Safety Agency of BiH, the inspector requested the withdrawal of these waters from the market until the necessary decision is issued. In this agency, they emphasized that they gave all available information to domestic inspections.
The absence of the mentioned decision does not mean that the mentioned waters contain something that they should not contain, but that it is only disputed that there is no decision on the recognition of natural mineral, spring, and purified waters for them, klix.ba reports.
