Russian energy company “Gazprom” will by the end of the first quarter of this year sign a contract on the delivery of pipes for the second leg of the marine portion of the gas pipeline “South Stream”.

Currently, international agreements are being reached with Bosnia and Herzegovina for the construction of the pipeline in Serbia. Namely, in order to implement energy projects in Serbia, with a branch continuing to the Republika Srpska, bilateral agreement with B&H must exist.

“Gazprom” will, by the end of the first quarter of 2014, publish the results of the tender for the installation of pipes beneath the sea. After completing Bulgaria and Serbia, the South Stream will move on to Hungary, in the second quarter of 2015.
