The second meeting of the Subcommittee on Innovation, Information Society and Social Policy between the European Union and BiH is held yesterday in Brussels.
The delegation of the Republic of Srpska at the Subcommittee meeting consists of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Labour, War Veterans and Disabled Persons Protection, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and Information Society Agency of the Republic of Srpska, which will report on the progress achieved in the subject fields of the Subcommittee in the Republic of Srpska during the past year.
In accordance with the agenda and prepared discussion paper, representatives of the competent institutions in BiH are discussing with representatives of the European Commission the topics in the fields of: information society, electronic communications and information technologies, audio-visual policy and media, education and professional training, youth and culture, employment, social protection and social inclusion, health protection at work, movement of workers, research, innovation etc.
The Subcommittee on Innovation, Information Society and Social Policy is one of the seven joint working bodies of the EU and BiH, established to monitor the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the EU and BiH.
