Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Alexander Chepurin met with the Serbian actor Milos Bikovic to tell him that he was awarded a Russian national decoration – the Medal of Pushkin.
“The plan is for the Russia President Vladimir Putin to present the medal at the Kremlin on November 4. We are happy about this and congratulate the winner,” Chepurin tweeted.
The meeting was also attended by the Prior of the Jovanje monastery, Archimandrite Mihailo Bikovic, the actor’s brother.
The Medal of Pushkin is awarded for one’s contribution in the field of culture, education, humanities, literature and arts.
Milos Bikovic is a Serbian film, TV and stage actor who has become popular in the Russian cinema over the past few years, making his first feature “Sunstroke” there with director Nikita Mikhalkov.
