Serbia’s First Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke on Thursday with Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov.
The Serbian government announced this, adding that they discussed “resolution of open issues, and agreed to meet on Friday in Nis (southern Serbia).”

Based on the agreement of President Aleksandar Vucic and Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, the two ministries will solve all open issues through dialogue, aimed at improving friendly relations between the two countries and the two nations,” the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, and added:
“Tomorrow (Friday) will begin the return of our staff to the embassy in Skopje, and our ambassador will return on August 31 and will request a meeting with Macedonian Prime Minister Zaev on September 1.”
