The silver wattle carnival is returning to Trebinje. This traditional carnival will once again line the streets of Trebinje giving the citizens and tourists a chance to enjoy performances of urban music, majorettes, trombones and evening masked balls.
The Mayor of Trebinje, Slavko Vucurevic, said that the return of the silver wattle carnival has great significance for the town and its citizens and for good neighborly relations between Trebinje and Herceg Novi.
He pointed out that the intensification of relations with Herceg Novi is very important and that the benefits of closer contacts with the coastal town can already be felt in terms of an increase in tourists.
