Six high school students from BiH have left for London, where they will take part in the 60th International Mathematical Olympiad between July 11 and 22.
The team consists of Marko Jojić from Banjaluka, Damjan Stanković from Foča, Dejan Stanković from Foča, Boris Stanković from Kakanj, Boris Velašević from Sarajevo and Dušan Garić from Doboj who are accompanied by Banjaluka professor of mathematics Ivan Vanja Boroja.
Professor Boroja told SRNA the students would represent BiH in London, where 643 participants from 116 countries would weigh their knowledge of mathematics.
“I expect good placement as this is the top quality team that worked hard during the preparations period,” Boroja said.
