The Sejdic-Finci matter probably wont be solved in the next three months and prior to the announcement of the general elections, believes the Speaker of the Parliament of Republika Sprska, Igor Radojicic.
During a meeting with the EU Special Representative to B&H, Peter Sorensen, Radojicic expressed skepticism in reaching an agreement on this issue in light of the ever harsher election confrontations between politicians.
The EU will continue supporting the dialogue among domestic politicians in their efforts to find a solution to the Sejdic-Finci matter, and talks at the highest level are expected to be held in the next few weeks, read a press release from the office of the Speaker of the Srpska Parliament.
Radojicic and Sorensen also welcomed the beginning of the EU twinning project for Parliaments in B&H, which starts this week and which will contribute to enabling Parliaments for European integration.
Further topics of discussion were the slow digitalization of the public broadcasters, the conditions which need to be met for the exportation of dairy products to the EU and the organization of the national group of subjects in schools.
