Srebrenica has seen the completion of the reconstruction of its main road, one of the projects implemented by UNDP Serbia.The repair covers one kilometer of the Srebrenica main street which is part of the regional road passing through town and the contracted value of works is EUR688,976.
The repair included the installation of storm drain underneath the road and building the pavement along the reconstructed street.
The project also envisaged building a paved area and installing a decorative cube in the main square. Tthese works are almost finished.
Zvornik-putevi crews are working on two more projects financed by resources from Serbia – building a 1km pavement in Skelani and building a new 2km pavement running along the Bratunac-Srebrenica regional road, from the settlement of Solocusa to the Srebrenica Bus Station.
Officials at Zvornik-putevi say that, weather permitting, the works are expected to be finished by the end of the month.
