Small and medium sized business account for 99.6 % of the total number of enterprises in Srpska, said the director of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, Slobodan Markovic.
They employ more than half of all workers in Srpska. Markovic said that the disadvantage is that a large number of these companies are in the distribution sector, thus attention must now be paid to the real sector, i.e. companies that create new value.
He pointed out that the introduction of the one stop shop in Srpska created a business friendly environment and has significantly simplified the process of opening a business.
