Children from the elementary schools of Zmaj Jova Jovanovic, Ivo Andric and Aleksa Santic are taking part in the artistic programme.

Principal of the Zmaj Jova Jovanovic school Dijana Bogdanovic says they gladly accepted the President Milorad Dodik’s invitation to take part in the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Republika Srpska.

Ms Bogdanovic, who coordinates the artistic programme, says that the Monday celebration is a solemn and an emotional event.

She said the children will demonstrate their achievements, and that they were happy to participate and that they greet their Republika Srpska and want it to live on.

After the performance by Banjaluka pupils, the children’s choir Vrapcici will stage a concert in the Krajina Square, while a military parade “25 years of Republika Srpska” to be held between the Republika Srpska Square and the Krajina Square is planned for 13.00 o’clock.
