The call to the Office of the High Representative to intervene regarding the decision on permanent residence brought by the Cabinet of Republika Srpska shows the powerlessness of the Bosniak member of the B&H Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, said the President of Srpska Milorad Dodik.
Dodik added that the legally elected representatives of Republika Srpska will never accept any decision of the OHR which would alter or suspend decisions legally brought by the bodies of Republika Srpska.
The President of Srpska accused Izetbegovic of spurring division and trying to instigate plans made by his father, Alija Izetbegovic.
“Why is he against Europeanization in B&H, including the regulating of this area through law which takes into account all European practices?” asked Dodik.
Regarding the decision brought by the Cabinet of Republika Srpska to regulate the issue of permanent residence, Izetbegovic called on the High Representative to B&H, Valentine Inzko, to react to “the clear anti-Dayton activities of Republika Srpska.”
