With the performance “Shelf Life” by standup comedian Peđa Bajović from Zagreb, the 2nd Banjaluka standup festival was opened.
The play “Shelf Life” is the last of his theme trilogy so far.
– A very brief description would be – I lament, and people laugh! I start with the state of affairs for a man my age, through health, sports, folk proverbs and porn. This is also the last performance of this show in Banja Luka because I have shot all three of them recently and they will only be available on screen from next year – said Bajovic.
Satisfied with the reactions of the audience, who laughed hard and sincerely throughout the performance, he emphasized that it is now quite clear that Banja Luka has its own standup comedy festival.
– It is precisely the town hall of Banski Dvor that is the place where something like this should happen. I hope that these three evenings will inspire the local people to try their hand at this genre so that the next festival will be enhanced by the local comedian forces – added Bajovic, one of the initiators of the regional standup comedy scene.
Throughout his career, he has toured twenty countries around the world and performed for several hundred years.
The Stendap Festival will be closed tonight, and from 8 pm, Srdjan Olsman will perform at the Banski Dvor Cultural Center with the program “Northern Ice Humor”.
