The Admissions Policy of Higher Education Institutions must meet the criteria and the needs of the market, said the acting assistant to the Minister for Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska, Radmila Pejic.
Data from the Bureau of Employment shows that students who acquire certain titles aren’t competitive in the labor market and that more than half of them can’t find employment in Srpska.
She believes that Rectors and Deans should consider correcting their curriculum and must try to create new study programs and new titles, and in accordance with the needs of the labor market.
Mathematicians, physicist, chemistry experts and biologists are currently scares, whilst there are too many teachers on the market.
