Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović said Thursday during the talks held with Iranian Ambassador to BiH Mahmoud Heidari that Republika Srpska was institutionally, politically and economically stable, and that it supported every good initiative that could contribute to better relations between Srpska and Iran.
The interlocutors assessed that, regardless of the geographical distance, there are significant potentials for improving economic cooperation and cultural relations, announced the Office of Republika Srpska President.
Cvijanović and Heidari exchanged views on Iran-BiH, Iran-Republika Srpska relations, as well as on the current situation in the Persian Gulf, the statement added.
Political and economic issues, as well as opportunities for enhancing cooperation in various fields of mutual interest are discussed at the meeting.
