The National Assembly of Republika Srpska on Tuesday appointed Suzana Gašić the new Minister of Trade and Tourism after taking cognizance of a resignation of minister Dragica Kovač.
After the appointment, Gašić took the oath of office.
Gašić was elected minister once the National Assembly resumed its session after a 60-minute break.
Kovač resigned to the position for personal reasons.
Prime Minister Radovan Višković stated earlier at the session that he had proposed Gašić for the position after Kovač resigned.
Gašić was born in Zagreb in 1980. She graduated from the Banjaluka Faculty of Law in 2007 and later worked for ArcelorMittal as assistant director of legal, general and human resource affairs.
