Banjaluka will take part in observance of Earth Hour along with a large number of cities throughout the world. With an hour of voluntary darkness, the capital of Srpska will do its part in helping tame climate change.
Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots movement uniting people to protect the planet and is organized by WWF. It famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has since then grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide.
On Saturday the 29th of March Banjaluka, along with the rest of the world, will switch off its lights between 20.30 and 21.30. Ecologists in B&H are advising companies and all others who are interested, to dedicate an hour to Mother Earth.
