The Deputy Speaker of the Republika Srpska Parliament, Nenad Stevandic, claims that the BiH Constitutional Court works exclusively against the interests of the Serbian people, which was confirmed by rejection of the request submitted by 30 members of the Republika Srpska Parliament for assessment of laws and general legal acts the FBiH Parliament adopted after the 2014 elections.
“This Court has chronic Serbophobia. Accordingly, everything that is banned to the Serbian people is allowed to others,” Stevandic told SRNA.
No other court promotes inequality in a similar way, Stevandic says.
The BiH Constitutional Court today rejected as unfounded the request submitted by 30 members of the Republika Srpska Parliament for assessment of constitutionality of laws and other general legal acts adopted by the FBiH Parliament after the 2014 elections.
The Court has concluded that the challenged laws were brought in keeping with regulations of the BiH Constitution and International Convention on Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination.
Members of the Republika Srpska Parliament submitted the request to the BiH Constitutional Court on September 29 last year, asking the Court to bring a provisional measure by which the enforcement of these laws and other general legal acts would be halted, and to ban the operations of the FBiH House of Peoples until the constitutionality of Serbs is achieved in full capacity.
The Serbian Caucus in the FBiH House of Peoples now has 13 members instead of 17 as stipulated by the FBiH Constitution by which the Serbs are prevented from raising the issue of vital national interest regarding any law brought by the FBiH.
