Teams from Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Banja Luka and Eastern Sarajevo were awarded at the finals of the Student Competition
With excellent presentation of the PR strategy for the U-Report platform the Fantastic Trio team from the Faculty of Economics, from the University of Zenica, ended the finals of the seventh PR Challenge competition. Senadina Mehanović, Ahmed Fajković and Dženan Delić created a comprehensive PR strategy, readily answered questions and offered concrete solutions. Six contest teams – a finalist from all over BiH gathered in Sarajevo to present their PR strategies for case studies set by the partner organizations of the competition, Vakufska banka d.d. Sarajevo and UNICEF in BiH.
Expert jury led by dr. sci. Lejla Turčilo, a professor at the Department of Journalism and Communication at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Sarajevo, announced the winners – members of the Fantastic Trio team from Zenica, assessing their strategy for the U-Report as the best in the overall rankings. Awards for first three teams were provided by Vakufska banka. Denis Chivgin, the manager of the bank, handed awards to the best teams.
This year, teams from Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Banja Luka and East Sarajevo competed in the finals. The second placed team was Prvi, team from University of Džemal Bijedić from Mostar, Faculty of Humanities, Communication Department with the most impressive performance. The third place, according to the expert jury, for the PR strategy for the U-Report, took team Prepare & Go from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of East Sarajevo. The jury estimated that the most creative concept was created by the EFSA PR Club team from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo with their PR strategy for the U-Report.
Gift packages for all participants, finalists and members of the jury were provided by Podravka in BiH, which is traditionally one of the partners of this CSR project that was launched and implemented by PR Communications Agency Prime Communications.
PR Challenge organizer is Prime Communications Agency, the first domestic PR agency with offices in Banja Luka and Sarajevo, which aims to emphasize the importance of PR profession, promote young, innovative and creative future colleagues, and give students the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge acquired at colleges in practice.
