Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik today supported the work of the European Voluntary Pension Fund, the first such fund in the area of Republika Srpska and BiH, and expressed the conviction that employers in Republika Srpska will recognize the importance of this Fund.
At a meeting held yesterday in Banjaluka, representatives of the European Voluntary Pension Fund informed the Republika Srpska President of the founding and activities of the Fund, says a press release from the Office of the Republika Srpska President.
Fund representatives stressed that this is the first investment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the ownership capital in BiH.
Founders of the European Voluntary Pension Fund are the Joint Pension Company from Ljubljana, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Pension Reserve Fund of the RS. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has a stake of 34, and the remaining two partners are 33%.
