The Government of the Republic of Srpska accepted today during its 37th working-consultative session the Information on the Project of Construction and Renovation of the East Sarajevo Hospital.
The Government accepted the concept architectural design for construction and equipping of the new hospital in East Sarajevo on the surface of 10 000 м2. Financial assessment is that the Project would cost BAM 50 million, out which 40 million would be used for construction works and infrastructure whereas 10 million would be needed for medical equipment.
Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Srpska will carry out the procedure of public invitation for purchase of the works for preparation of the design for construction and equipping of the new hospital in East Sarajevo.
Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the City of East Sarajevo would prepare and sign the Protocol on Implementation of the Project of Designing, Construction and Equipping of the Hospital in East Sarajevo.
After the public procurement procedure of selecting the best bidder for designing, construction and equipping of the new hospital in East Sarajevo is carried out, the Ministry of Health shall inform the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and request approval for signing a contract with the main contractor.
Ministry of Health and Social Protection shall regularly inform the Government about realization of this Project.
