“Republika Srpska is the first in BiH to fulfill its obligation with regard to finalization of answers to the European Commission Questionnaire which has been verified during the Government session today”, the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska Zlatan Klokic stated yesterday at a press conference in the Administrative Center of Government of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.
The Government of Republika Srpska adopted yesterday during its first telephone session, the Information on verification of answers to additional questions from the European Commission Questionnaire in English language.
Minister Klokić emphasized that the Government of Republika Srpska on five occasions, out of a total of 655 additional questions from the European Commission Questionnaire, confirmed all 655 answers or 100% from 33 Chapters and the Working Groups for political and economic criteria which have subsequently been submitted for translation into English.
The answers to additional questions from the European Commission Questionnaire were verified for: Chapter 1 – Free movement of goods (21 answers); Chapter 2 – Free movement of workers (13 answers); Chapter 3 – The right of establishment and freedom to provide services (12 answers); Chapter 4 – Free movement of capital (7 answers); Chapter 5 – Public Procurement (5 answers); Chapter 6 – Company Law (18 answers); Chapter 7 – Intellectual Property Law (8 answers); Chapter 8 – Competition Policy and State Aid (5 answers); Chapter 9 – Financial Services (16 answers); Chapter 10 – Information society and media (8 answers); Chapter 11 – Agriculture and rural development (18 answers); Chapter 12 – Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy (19 answers); Chapter 13 – Fishing (13 answers); Chapter 14 – Transport policy (38 answers); Chapter 15 – Energy (23 answers); Chapter 16 – Taxation (18 answers); Chapter 17 – Economic and monetary policy (17 answers); Chapter 18 – Statistics (4 technically finalized answers); Chapter 19 – Social Policy and Employment (43 answers); Chapter 20 – Entrepreneurial and industrial policy (27 answers); Chapter 21 – Trans-European networks (23 answers); Chapter 22 – Regional Policy and Coordination of Structural Elements (26 technically finalized answers); Chapter 23 – Judiciary and fundamental rights (1 answer); Chapter 24 – Justice, Freedom and Security (36 answers); Chapter 25 – Science and Research (8 answers); Chapter 26 – Education and Culture (19 technically finalized answers); Chapter 27 – Environment and Climate Change (22 answers); Chapter 28 – Consumer and health protection (15 answers); Chapter 29 – Customs Union (13 answers); Chapter 30 – Economic relations with foreign countries (8 answers); Chapter 31 – External, security and defense policy (2 answers); Chapter 32 – Financial control (7 answers); Chapter 33 – Financial and budgetary provisions (3 answers); Political criteria (106 answers); Economic Criteria (33 answers).
The Government of Republika Srpska has commissioned the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska to inform the Office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Directorate for European Integration of BiH about this Decision.
