The International Tourism and Investment Conference “Banja Luka 2018”, aimed at improving tourism, bringing new investors interested in investing in the construction of accommodation capacities in the city, will be held on May 10th and 11th at Banski Dvor.
Irena Radojević, director of the Tourist Organization of the city of Banja Luka, said that already there is a large number of registered participants and lecturers.
“There will be discussions that will show why investing in the accommodation capacities of Banja Luka and branding the city. There is a recognizable manifestation and adventure tourism in the city, which is becoming more and more popular,” Radojević pointed out.
She added that within the conference there will be a “Show room” where these segments of tourism will be promoted, as well as a gastro corner with a rich offer of traditional dishes and home-made products.
Natalija Trivić, Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Social Policy of the city of Banja Luka, emphasized that the conference will focus on promoting the city’s tourist offer and topics related to branding cities as tourist destinations.
“In Banja Luka, we bring David Bonet, a representative of the world tour operator Tomas Cook, who will give a lecture on how to brand cities as a tourist destination,” explained Trivic.
She added that the offers of adrenaline tourism, manifestations and festivals taking place in the city will be presented.

“Balkan Tube Fest powered by Fanta”, as announced, is ongoing this weekend at the Sports Hall “Borik” in Banja Luka, and it features more than 80 biggest stars of the regional YouTube scene.
The most popular jokers, including Baka Prasa, Vanimy, Lea Stankovic, Andrija Jo, will chat with fans, play, answer questions and talk about important topics for the lives of young people in the region.
