The National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Concessions, which more precisely defines the previous activities of the competent ministries and all other bodies, public companies and institutions competent for issuing the permits, permits and approvals necessary for the realization of the subject of the concession.
“This includes the opinion of the local self-government unit on whose territory the concession activity will be performed, for concessions awarded by the Government of Republika Srpska,” the statement of reasons for this act states.
The Parliament adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Public-Private Partnership in Republika Srpska, which expands the circle of persons who may be public and private partners, and stipulates that both domestic and foreign, as well as natural and legal persons, may participate in the selection process of a private partner.
The MPs also adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Environmental Protection, which creates additional conditions for establishing a more efficient environmental protection system in the territory of Srpska.
The Assembly also adopted a report by the Republika Srpska Attorney General’s Office last year stating, among other things, that when it came to resolved 2,120 civil cases worth KM 316 million, it won a dispute in 992 cases worth 241 million KM.
The Republika Srpska National Assembly did not adopt the decisions on the dissolution of the municipal assemblies of Rudo and Teslic municipalities, which were envisaged because the mayors of these municipalities were not recalled after the procedure had been conducted.
Out of 64 deputies present, 15 deputies voted in favor of the decision to dissolve the Rudo Municipal Assembly, while no one voted, while 37 abstained.
A total of 64 MPs present voted in favor of the proposal to dissolve the Teslic Municipal Assembly, 14 voted against it, while 38 abstained.
The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska adopted the decision on the approval of part of the subdivision plan for the highway and the gas pipeline of the Vukosavlje-Brčko and Brčko-Rača sections under the abbreviated procedure for the Brčko-Bijeljina-Rača section, as well as the decision on the preparation of the subdivision plan for the Banja Luka- Short-lived Prijedor.
After voting on the resolved agenda items, Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nedeljko Cubrilovic closed the eighth regular session of parliament.
