Activities carried out in Republika Srpska, aimed at improving the business environment and attracting foreign investors, were the main topic of discussion between the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, and the members of the Inter-Parliamentary Group on International Relations of the British Parliament.
During the meeting they talked of the possibilities of strengthening economic and institutional cooperation with the EU Member States.
The Prime Minister held a meeting with representatives from the business and academic community, managers of companies, trade associations and organizations in the UK that operate in the Balkans and have an interest in investing in Republika Srpska, announced the government’s Bureau of Public Affairs.
The topics of conversation with the Head of Department for the Western Balkans and EU enlargement in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, Owen Jenkins, included the process of European integration, with a focus on activities that are carried out in establishing a new mechanism for coordination, as well as the implementation of decision made by the European Court of Human Rights in the case of “Sejdic and Finci”.
The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska will deliver a lecture at the prestigious Royal Institution, the theme being “Living the Dayton Agreement: The Experience of Republika Srpska”.
