According to the latest data from the Webometrics Ranking List of Universities, the University of East Sarajevo has made new progress and ranked second among the 46 ranked institutions of higher learning in Bosnia and Herzegovina and ranked first among the universities in Srpska.
At the world level, compared to the previous ranking list, the University of East Sarajevo advanced by 43 places and is now in the 3,180th position.
This is the best position the University has achieved on the Webometrics ranking list since it was first included, especially when one considers the fact that the ranking included more than 31,000 universities, the University of East Sarajevo said.
First on the list in the world are Harvard University, Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, while in Europe Oxford, Cambridge and University College London lead the list.
