Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Radoslav Gajanin, and the rector of the Moscow State Institute of Culture, Arsenij Stanislavovich Mironov, signed a Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions mentioned above.
The main objective of the Agreement signed at the Rectorate of the Banja Luka University is the organization of academic cooperation in scientific, teaching, innovative, cultural, information and other spheres of activity, among others, through information and communication and distance technologies.
It is alleged that both sides will encourage the strengthening of relations between universities in the fields of science, education and culture.
“The Contracting Parties will encourage mutual visits and exchanges of teaching staff, experts, all in order to carry out teaching, master workshops, organization of scientific research projects, joint consultations and additional training courses for students and doctoral candidates. It will exchange scientific information, professional literature, as well as experiences in the field of teaching process and the results of scientific research,” the contract states.
It was emphasized that one of the goals was to stimulate the exchange of students.
“The Contracting Parties will encourage cultural exchange, as well as teaching activities in the field of the spread and popularization of Russian language and culture in the educational space of the Republic of Srpska and Serbian language and culture in the territory of the Russian Federation,” University of Banja Luka announced.
After the signing of the contract, Rector Mironov held a lecture at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka on the topic “The current cultural code of the Slovenian civilization in the Russian and Serbian epos”.
