JAHORINA OLYMPIC MOUNTAIN
 
If you want to spend some time on the mountain, there is Olympic mountain Jahorina. The mountain of Jahorina is located in east part of Republic of Srpska, the highest peak is called Ogorjelica at 1916 m above sea level, from which, on a sunny day, one can see the mountains Maglić, Zelengora Bjelašnica, and even peak of Durmitor in Montenegro. Experts put Jahorina amongst the most beautiful mountains in Europe. The World Ski Federation verified the three competition skiing paths on Jahorina (slalom, giant slalom and downhill) that fulfill conditions for international competitions. This ski center makes very attractive destination for all ski sport fans. During summer Jahorina gives the possibility for mountaineering, alpinists, speleologists, hunters, fishermen but also it is an ideal place for relax, recreation and rest. It primarily refers to chronic lungs diseases, tuberculosis and anemia. Clear mountain air rich in oxygen has very tranquil effects on easy nerve disease and helps to recover from heavy diseases. The Olympic Centre of Jahorina is a leading company in winter tourism in Republic of Srpska. The basic activity is provision of services to tourists in skiing sites in Jahorina, and in “Bistrica” Hotel.  The major obligation of the Centre is to arrange skiing sites on the mountain so that guests have a pleasant stay. Hotel “Bistrica” as a part of Jahorina Olympic Centre, works during whole year. The hotel is located on 1650 m above sea level and it has 152 rooms and eight apartments. BANJA LUKA CITY
 
Banjaluka is the biggest city in Republic of Srpska with approximately 250 000 inhabitants. This city is administrative, economic, educational, cultural and sport centre of Republic of Srpska. Because of many green surfaces such as parks and alleys, Banja Luka is also called the city of young people, sport and beautiful girls. Many cultural and historical monuments testify of its past. The oldest cultural monument is Kastel castle from the Roman time. The main watercourse, Vrbas river, with its blue and green color is one of the most beautiful rivers in Republic of Srpska. Waterfalls, rapids, beaches, rocks and rich flora and fauna make this river very special. Interesting attractions are water sports because this river provides excellent conditions. According to estimations from the World Rafting Federation, Vrbas fulfills all conditions to organize competition in all rafting disciplines. According to that, in 2009, World Rafting Federation decided to award organization of the World rafting championship to Banja Luka and Vrbas. Close to the town are several spas with mineral water, such as Srpske Toplice (Spa Šeher), Slatina and Laktaši. Banjaluka is surrounded by forests with lots of wild animals. Spiritual life in Banja Luka has always been very rich; Church of Christ the Saviour, Church of the Holy Trinity and Cathedral of Saint Bonaventure are in the centre of the town. Not far from Banja Luka, in Krupa na Vrbasu is Monastery of Saint Ilija, that was built in the end of 12th century. In suburb called Trapisti is a Monastery Maria Star built in 1926. There are many sport clubs that give the services of rafting, kayak on speed waters, diving, free climbing, hiking, mountaineering, speleology, mountain biking, cannoning and paragliding. It would be excellent chance to meet and experience the natural beauties of this region, as well. During the year, in Banja Luka and its surroundings, there are range of traditional and cultural events such as “Summer at Vrbas”,  “Theater  fest”,  “Kočić’s gathering”, and a lot of music festivals, such as: “Demo fest, “Beer fest” etc.

VIŠEGRAD, ANDRIĆGRAD
 
Višegrad is the town located at the far east of Republic of Srpska. The most famous part of Višegrad is the bridge on the Drina, that is inscribed in 2007 to the UNESCO World Heritage List as the bridge with big cultural impact. Tourist railway Višegrad – Vardište – Mokra Gora, known as “The Šargan Eight,” is available from Mokra Gora to Višegrad, and have special charter rides for tourist groups. Višegrad Spa is located at 5 km from Višegrad. It is surrounded by thick pine forest at the altitude of 414 m. Because of this altitude and of natural environment it has the characteristics of the air spa. Višegrad Spa is the first listed spa by the level of its radioactivity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Andrićgrad is a tourist, cultural, administrative and educational complex. It is situated between the rivers Drina and Rzav in Višegrad. Andrićgrad is a project of a famous film director Emir Kusturica. The stone town is inspired by the literary works and characters of Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andrić. Its architecture is a mix of different eras and styles that passed throughout Višegrad history: the Byzantine style, the Ottoman period, the Renaissance, the Classicism etc. Some of the main objects of Andrićgrad are: Ivo Andrić Institute with the Centre for Slavic languages, Fine Arts Academy, Town Hall, Renaissance Theatre, Multiplex Cinema, accommodation objects and much more.

TREBINJE CITY
 
Trebinje is the most southern city in Republic of Srpska. It lies on the river of Trebišnjica, in Trebinjsko Field beneath Mountain Leotar at 270 m above sea level. Numerous archeology findings and historical monuments are a testimony of civilizations and nations who had lived there: from Illyrs, old Greeks and Romans to the Slavs. Today’s name goes back to 16th century. During the rise of the medieval states in these regions and the Turkish era, Trebinje was the main rest resort and station of caravans which traveled from Dubrovnik to Bosnia and Serbia. Some medieval monasteries are also located in Trebinje and its surrounding. Some of them are the Monastery of St. Peter and Pavle, the Monastery Zavala, the Tvrdoš Monastery and the Monastery Duži. An old part of the city is clearly expressed in today’s Trebinje city. One can see the combination of coast and oriental influences but there is a modern architecture, as well. Trebinje is also known as a home place of the famous poet writer Jovan Dučić. According to his testament, there was built the Church of the Holy Mother of God on Crkvina Hill above Trebinje. The church is also called Hercegovačka Gračanica and it can be seen from each point in Trebinje. It is the most beautiful sacral building of newer time in entire eastern Herzegovina. Hot summer and mild winter create the ideal conditions for wine making in that area. Vranac (red wine) and Žilavka (white wine) there have been raised for centuries.

ETHNO VILLAGE STANIŠIĆ, BIJELJINA
 
In the heart of the Semberija Plain, on 5 ha of ground is built  Ethno Village Stanišić.  Ethno Village Stanišić takes us back in time making us closer to nature and our ancestors, and making us admire the simplicity of rural life of the past. It was founded in 2003, as the result of the inspiration of its owner, Boris Stanišić. The village has two parts. One of them shows secular life and it contains wooden houses – cottages – with the household objects that used to belong to them for centuries.  The other part is of religious character, with the medieval stone architecture. It is made up of a number of replicas of important historical and religious buildings. The Pirg Hotel occupies a dominant place in the  Ethno Village Stanišić matching the entire neighborhood. It is a modern high-class hotel. His breathtaking exterior and refined interior offers excellent atmosphere of hospitality. It is equipped according to all international standards, modern furniture, appliances, air-conditioning and elevators. The hotel rooms and high-class apartments can accommodate 130 guests. According to the latest European standards in planning and construction, there is also built the Ras Hotel. SUTJESKA NATIONAL PARK
 
Sutjeska National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Republic of Srpska and BiH. It includes the area of Sutjeska with Nature Reserve Perućica, parts of mountains Maglić, Volujak, Vučevo and Zelengora. Thanks to the well-preserved exceptional natural values since 2000, NP Sutjeska has been listed in Category II of IUCN (UN department for conservation of nature and natural wealth). NP Sutjeska is one of the most diverse complexes of ecosystems in South-Eastern Europe. National Park was established based on the Act on Declaration of National Park Sutjeska in 1962. Maglić is a mountain with the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina (2,386m/altitude), and it is situated at the border between BiH and Montengro, approximately 20 km southeast from Foča.  Many think that Zelengora is the most beautiful mountain in this region. Zelengora is a gentle and mild mountain.  It is a total opposite to Maglić and Volujak, separated from them by the deep Sutjeska canyon.  The particular charms of Zelengora are its “mountain eyes” – clear glacial lakes located in the foothills of its peaks. Immensely valuable segments in the Sutjeska National Park are historical monuments and ambience of cultural and historical value.  They witness not only to the continuity of human presence in this area from pre-historical epoch to nowadays but also to the succession of different cultural and creative peculiarities of populations succeeding each other. Perućica is one of the richest forests in Europe. In this area there are a big number of animals which makes it very attractive to hunters. Perućica jungle is not just a jungle of huge trees, but European jewel of a true nature, the place where imaginative nature turned Perućica into a lovely landscape.

KOZARA NATIONAL PARK
 
Kozara Mountain became a famous site after heroic battles for freedom in Wоrld War the Second. Forests of Kozara Mountain were declared the forests of historical significance in 1957 and the area was declared the National Park on April 6, 1967. The main objective was to preserve and protect numerous monuments made after the battles in Kozara Mountain, natural beauties and other landmarks of this region and in order to develop tourism and create better conditions for holidays and relaxation. In the memory of deceased soldiers, a memorial complex, which consists of the Monument, Memorial Wall and Museum, it was built in the central part of the Kozara National Park – Mrakovica in 1972. With its height of 33 m the monument, symbolically, represents the size of liberty and freedom-loving spirit of Kozara people. There are two ski runs for those who enjoy winter sports: one for younger, and the other for more experienced skiers. The big ski run is 600 m long and it is equipped with ski-lifts with the total capacity of 900 skiers per hour and skiers can enjoy skiing at night as well. Snow guns produce artificial snow to cover the whole ski run when there is not enough natural snow. The ski run for children is 150 m long and there is a mini ski-lift with the capacity of 450 skiers per hour. For those who have not mastered skiing, skilled instructors are available. Also, it is possible to rent necessary ski equipment. The Monument Hotel is a four-star facility offering a high quality service to its guests that will make their stay an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located in Mrakovica, about 300 meters from the Memorial zone. The hotel offers 31 top rooms which are fully equipped and 11 luxurious suites, with the total number of 130 beds.
