Republika Srpska Prime Minister, Radovan Višković, has assessed that the Hydropower Plants on the Vrbas River and Bočac are very significant and profitable for the energy system of Srpska, which is why significant investments will be made in the coming period.

The prime minister of Srpska told the press in Banjaluka that approval was given for investments planned in Bočac and Hydropower Plants on the Vrbas River.

“I expect the implementation of those projects to start soon, especially since this company has financial resources of about BAM 30 million within the Power Industry of Srpska. These are accumulated funds to be used for investments,” said Višković.

When it comes to the implementation of the “Ada Polje” solar power plant, Višković stated that most of the issues had been resolved, including property affairs and funds, which is why this project could possibly be completed within the next year.

The acting director of the Hydropower Plant on the Vrbas River, Goran Milanović, said, regarding the investment in the future solar power plant “Ada Polje”, that the plant will have the power for an average annual production of 11.75 gigawatt hours of electricity.
