Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic said during his official visit to Kazakhstan on Tuesday that Serbia would be cooperating with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future, respecting the will of its voters

Commenting on the recently held Bosnia’s general election, Vucic said the state Presidency members were elected in line with the law and that Serbia would try to maintain and improve the degree of communication with that institution, the Belgrade media reported.

“Is it always going to be easy and simple – it won’t, but it is the task of Serbia to try and make the relations better than they were,” Vucic added.

The cooperation with the new Serb member of the Presidency Milorad Dodik, according to the Serbia’s President, is “good, rational and successful” and will hopefully be the same with other two members of the tripartite Bosnia’s Presidency, Bosniak Sefik Dzaferovic and Croat Zeljko Komsic.

Bosnia and Herzegovina held the general election on October 7 and according to preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Dodik, Dzaferovic and Komsic will be the new members of the state Presidency. The voter turnout was 53.36 on Tuesday.
