On the latest Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, the University of Banja Luka took the second place on the list of universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the report for July 2018, the University of Banja Luka is on the 3,393 position in the world.
In January this year, the University was in the 3.546 position and was the fourth in BiH, and a year ago it was 4.834 in the world and seventh in BiH.
The top 26 places in the world on the Webometrics rankings are mainly American universities. The first Harvard, who has held that position for years, is immediately after Stanford University, and is monitored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
When it comes to European universities, the University of Oxford was the best ranked, which was ranked 7th this year.
Webmetrics list is an indicator of internet visibility, presence, openness and excellence / citations of universities around the world.
This is the world-renowned ranking list of the university being developed and updated twice a year by the Cybermetric Laboratory of the Spanish National Research Council.
